Police search for suspects who stole beaver costume from Pearland Buc-ee’s

Authorities are searching for three suspects who stole the beloved beaver mascot costume from a Buc-ee’s store in Pearland.

The incident happened on Jan. 1, with the store reporting that the costume was nabbed during the New Year holiday. Pearland Police Department released surveillance images of the three perps.

The thieves entered the office at the Buc-ee’s and stole various elements of the Buc-ee’s costume, including the head, gloves shirt and feet. Surprisingly, these items have a combined value north of $1,900.

Authorities are trying to help bring Buc-ee home. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items or the identity of the thieves is encouraged to contact the Pearland Police Department Criminal Investigations Tip Line at 281-997-4211.
