Houston police are investigating after a young man was found dead in an Alief neighborhood on Saturday evening.
Houston police responded to a call at approximately 6:40 p.m. and discovered the victim, described as a male in his late teens, lying in the street on Caddo Lake Lane.

The victim was shot at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene.

What happened
Investigators say the victim, who lived in the area, approached a vehicle on foot. An argument reportedly began between him and someone in the car. They got out and gunfire began.
Police recovered a firearm at the scene and noted that the number of shots fired was in the double digits. They collected shell casings from three different firearms.
They are also examining “poor-quality” security footage of the suspect’s vehicle.
