HOUSTON – This week’s pup on KPRC 2′s Pet Project is Blizzard, a two-year-old Labrador mix. KPRC 2 partners with the Houston Humane Society to help all pets find their forever home.
The shelter describes Blizzard as a brave pup with a sad start to life. According to the Houston Humane Society, Blizzard is an animal cruelty survivor. However he does not let this stop him from living out his best life!
The shelter says despite Blizzard’s tough background, he has a big heart and a sweet demeanor. HHS tells us Blizzard even gets along with both dogs AND kids, so if you’re looking to add another playmate to the mix, Blizzard is the one for you. He also walks on a leash like a pro, and would love to join you on your daily walks!
The shelter says Blizzard is very treat motivated, and learned how to sit on command very quickly.
The Houston Humane Society says Blizzard is one of their long term stays, being with them for more than 100 days.
If you’re interested in giving Blizzard a chance at a better life, make sure to stop by the Houston Humane Society. The shelter is open Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and on weekends 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. They are located on 14700 Almeda Road.
