As residents continue to pick up the pieces left behind by hurricane damage, something Houston residents know all too well, big names are stepping in to help.

Houston rapper and philanthropist, Trae Tha Truth joined KPRC 2 News Today on Friday morning to explain what he was seeing and how his team at Relief Gang was helping residents impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The death toll has topped 200 after the Category 4 storm rolled through the southeast last week, with flooding washing out roads to cutting off entire communities that lack electricity, water, and cellular service.
“A lot of people are still without power,” Trae Tha Truth said. “Yesterday we were in we were put down to getting food, clothes, supplies, diapers, and the like...Today I’ll be trying to feed at least a couple of thousand families.”
