Images of the suspect (HPD)

New surveillance images released by Houston Police Department show a clearer image of the masked gunman who remains at large after killing a man and injuring another earlier this year.

The shooting occurred at 24 Hour Tires on South Loop West and David Street on January 16 at around 8:25 p.m.

Investigators said a customer, 40-year-old Naseli Samuel Okha was killed. A 36-year-old employee who was working on the Okha’s car was injured in the attack.

Following the shooting, the tire shop’s owner told KPRC 2 reporter Corley Peel that he was shaken up. He says based on the video, it appeared the customer was targeted and followed to the tire shop.

According to the surveillance video, the gunman appeared to have taken something from the customer.

The entire incident only lasting 12 seconds before the gunman fled the scene.

Anyone with information on the identity of the shooter in the surveillance photos or in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
