Through Saturday’s party, FLUX officials say they aim to raise the profile of the trans* as well as non-binary community by providing social events, creating safe spaces, and innovative advocacy initiatives.

“We’re here to raise the profile of Houston’s trans and nonbinary community by leveraging social events, creating safe spaces, and innovative advocacy initiatives,” Jevon Martin, President of FLUX Houston said in a statement. “This is the 1st of many events meant to serve our community to come.”
