HOUSTON – Two women are in critical condition after being shot multiple times on the I-45 freeway, Houston Police Department says.
The two victims, who are believed to be in their mid-30s, were traveling northbound on the freeway when they were cut off by a silver car. Then, shots rang out.

The driver was shot in the legs, and possibly in the arm and torso. The passenger was also shot, and possibly sustained wounds in the neck and chin areas.
It is unclear if the violence was caused by road rage, or if the attack was targeted.
