According to a witness, a red Dodge Durango was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound near the 10600 block of the westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway in the left emergency lane and weaving from lane to lane.  The Durango then crossed over from the emergency lane and struck a blue Suzuki V-Storm motorcycle, also traveling westbound on the freeway.  The driver was ejected from the motorcycle and then struck by the Durango.

HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead.

Clemente was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. HPD said Clemente showed signs of being impaired.
