2 people shot on METRO bus in north Houston

Houston police said gunshots were fired inside a METRO bus in north Houston Sunday.

HOUSTON – Two people were injured after shots were fired inside a METRO bus in north Houston on Sunday, according to police.

The incident happened around 6:55 p.m. at Bauman Road and Tidwell Road.

According to Lt. Tarlisha James with the METRO Police Department, two people got into an argument with two others on the bus.

When the bus got to Tidwell and Bauman, one of the suspects, a man, told a woman to get off the bus. When she refused, the male suspect got off the bus then pulled out a weapon, firing into the bus.

James said two people were hit by gunfire, one in the shoulder and one in the wrist. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

James said they are looking for a male and female suspect. They have video of the two and know what they look like.
