Authorities investigating after body found in Buffalo Bayou

HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after a body was found in the bayou in downtown.

The person was found around 10:40 a.m. Friday near Travis Street near Commerce Street, authorities said.

According to authorities, the body is believed to be in Buffalo Bayou behind the UHB bike trail.
