Lone Star Flight Museum: From May 24-26th, the Aviation Museum will host a series of events celebrating aviation and honoring those who served. Galveston Naval Museum: Stop by the Galveston Naval Museum on May 25th to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. The ceremony includes live music and cupcakes. Flags for Fallen Veterans: The community is invited to honor veterans by placing flags at their headstones at Houston National Cemetery on May 25th, from 8 a.m. to noon. Organized by the Reveille Networking Group, this event is open to the public and will include collaboration with the Houston A&M Club. Volunteers should bring necessary tools and can enjoy the provided food.
Houston National Cemetery: On May 25 at 9 a.m., the Houston Marines invite the public to participate in a flag placement ceremony at Houston National Cemetery. This event, organized by the Marine Corps Coordinating Council, Southeast Texas, begins with a Fellowship Breakfast, offering an opportunity for camaraderie and reflection before placing flags on veterans’ headstones.
Bear Creek Pioneers Park: Attend a special Memorial Day Ceremony on May 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the War Memorial Pavilion in Bear Creek Pioneers Park. This cherished tradition in Precinct 4 offers a time to honor the brave men and women of Harris County who sacrificed their lives in World War I and other conflicts. The Woodlands: Join the community at Town Green Park on May 25th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a Memorial Day event honoring military servicemen and women who have lost their lives. The evening features live music, children’s activities, and a spectacular fireworks display. The event is free, with concessions available for purchase. Sugar Land Memorial Park: Pay tribute to those who served with a special ceremony on May 26 at the Sugar Land Memorial Park from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event includes a patriotic concert by the Lone Star Symphony, a military flyover, and a formal tribute to honor fallen soldiers. Attendees can also enjoy presentations by the Sugar Land Police Department Honor Guard, explore military-related exhibits, and visit food trucks. Baytown Veteran’s Memorial: On Monday, May 26, 2025, join the community at Bicentennial Park for a Memorial Day Ceremony honoring those who served. The event begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m., offering a day of reflection and remembrance. Located at 1001 Market Street, Baytown, TX 77522. Admission is free.
