HOUSTON – Here is a quick look at the coronavirus cases that have been reported in the Greater Houston area.

Austin County: 2,298 cases, 37 deaths, 2,237 recoveries

Officials ask people to get the latest information about COVID-19 cases in Austin Country from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services here.

Brazoria County: 38,789 total cases, 457 deaths, 37,233 recoveries

Information about the cases in Brazoria County can be found at BrazoriaCountyTX.gov.

NOTE: As of June 8, officials in Brazoria County said they are no longer going to report the Department of Criminal Justice cases in the county’s total. This caused the number of reported cases in the county to substantially drop.

Brazos County: 24,317 total cases, 265 deaths, 23,735 recoveries

Information about the cases in Brazos County can be found at BrazosHealth.org.

Calhoun County: 2,546 total cases, 26 deaths, 2,485 recoveries

Calhoun County Texas Emergency Management has been providing official information about the cases on Facebook.

Chambers County: 5,503 total cases, 59 deaths, 5,311 recoveries

Colorado County: 1,820 total cases, 33 death, 1,761 recoveries

Colorado County Emergency Management has been providing official information about the cases on Facebook.

Fort Bend County: 61,057 total cases, 733 deaths, 59,221 recoveries

Official information about the cases in Fort Bend County can be found at fbchealth.org.

Galveston County: 36,426 total cases, 387 deaths, 34,765 recoveries

Grimes County: 3,877 cases, 74 deaths, 3,743 recoveries

Grimes County Emergency Management has been providing official information about the cases on its Facebook page.

NOTE: As of June 30, officials in Grimes County said they are no longer going to report the Department of Criminal Justice cases in the county’s total. This caused the number of reported cases in the county to substantially drop

Harris County: 215,681 cases, 2,061 deaths, 208,975 recoveries

Houston (city): 196,795 cases, 2,939 deaths, 190,193 recoveries

Liberty County: 8,352 cases, 203 deaths, 8,108 recoveries

The Liberty County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security has been providing case information on its Facebook page.

Matagorda County: 4,346 total cases, 115 deaths, 4,215 recoveries

Official information about the Matagorda County cases is being provided at matagordaregional.org.

Montgomery County: 57,017 total cases, 346 deaths, 30,096 recoveries

Official information about the cases in Montgomery County is being provided at mcphd-tx.org.

Polk County: 3,585 total cases, 121 deaths, 3,324 recoveries

Information about the Polk County cases are being provided at acchd.us.

San Jacinto County: 1,535 total cases, 39 death, 1,436 recoveries

Information about the San Jacinto County cases are provided by the Texas Department of Health dashboard.

Walker County: 8,733 total cases, 134 deaths, 8,616 recoveries

Officials have been providing information about the cases on the Walker County Office of Emergency Management’s Facebook page.

Waller County: 4,324 total cases, 52 deaths, 4,224 recoveries

Officials are providing information about all of the Waller County cases at co.waller.tx.us.

Washington County: 4,400 total cases, 96 deaths, 4,200 recoveries

Officials are providing information about the cases in Washington County oem.wacounty.com.

Wharton County: 4,346 total cases, 119 death, 4,205 recoveries

Officials have provided information about the cases at co.wharton.tx.us.
