HOUSTON – Here is a quick look at the coronavirus cases that have been reported in the Greater Houston area.

Austin County: 509 cases, 9 deaths, 598 recoveries

Officials ask people to get the latest information about COVID-19 cases in Austin Country from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services here.

Brazoria County: 11,141 total cases, 148 deaths, 10,318 recoveries

Information about the cases in Brazoria County can be found at BrazoriaCountyTX.gov.

NOTE: As of June 8, officials in Brazoria County said they are no longer going to report the Department of Criminal Justice cases in the county’s total. This caused the number of reported cases in the county to substantially drop.

Brazos County: 7,404 total cases, 66 deaths, 6,835 recoveries

Information about the cases in Brazos County can be found at BrazosHealth.org.

Calhoun County: 893 total cases, 8 deaths, 877 recoveries

Calhoun County Texas Emergency Management has been providing official information about the cases on Facebook.

Chambers County: 1,542 total cases, 20 deaths, 1,447 recoveries

Colorado County: 549 total cases, 4 death, 540 recoveries

Colorado County Emergency Management has been providing official information about the cases on Facebook.

Fort Bend County: 17,362 total cases, 237 deaths, 16,390 recoveries

Galveston County: 12,262 total cases, 148 deaths, 11,491 recoveries

Grimes County: 1,157 cases, 35 deaths, 1,057 recoveries

Grimes County Emergency Management has been providing official information about the cases on its Facebook page.

NOTE: As of June 30, officials in Grimes County said they are no longer going to report the Department of Criminal Justice cases in the county’s total. This caused the number of reported cases in the county to substantially drop

Harris County: 74,986 cases, 870 deaths, 70,143 recoveries

The Liberty County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security has been providing case information on its Facebook page.

Matagorda County: 1,089 total cases, 52 deaths, 1,054 recoveries

Official information about the Matagorda County cases is being provided at matagordaregional.org.

Montgomery County: 13,436 total cases, 147 deaths, 8,609 recoveries

Official information about the cases in Montgomery County is being provided at mcphd-tx.org.

Polk County: 912 total cases, 32 deaths, 839 recoveries

Information about the Polk County cases are being provided at acchd.us.

San Jacinto County: 286 total cases, 11 deaths, 275 recoveries

Officials have provided information on the Office of Emergency Management Facebook page.

Walker County: 4,540 total cases, 60 deaths, 3,758 recoveries

Officials have been providing information about the cases on the Walker County Office of Emergency Management’s Facebook page.

Waller County: 951 cases, 17 deaths, 908 recoveries

Officials are providing information about all of the Waller County cases at co.waller.tx.us.

Washington County: 692 cases, 48 deaths, 598 recoveries

Officials are providing information about the cases in Washington County oem.wacounty.com.

Wharton County: 1,504 total cases, 47 death, 1,417 recoveries

Officials have provided information about the cases at co.wharton.tx.us.
