HOUSTON – While on patrol in the Walnut Bend neighborhood, just north of Westheimer Road in West Houston, deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 5 came across a 14-year-old running a lemonade stand with a purpose.
That teen was Brylee Livesay, and when deputies learned why she was out there in the Texas heat, they called her “inspirational.”

“Her compassion and drive set a powerful example for us all. Way to go, Brylee,” deputies said.
Livesay set up the lemonade stand to raise money for victims in the Texas Hill Country floods.
Livesay raised over $600, and she said every dollar is going straight to support flood relief efforts.
Her story, shared on social media by deputies, quickly gained attention across the community.
Comments poured in, with people calling her “awesome” and “so sweet,” and the post was shared multiple times, a clear sign that Livesay’s kindness struck a chord.

Flooding at Camp Mystic, a Christian camp for girls, caused widespread damage and upended summer plans for many families.
