HOUSTON – Texas voters cast their ballots on Nov. 5, 2024, for key U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives races.
These elections will determine who represents Texas at the federal level and they will play a significant role in shaping national policies on issues such as healthcare, the economy, immigration, reproductive rights, LBGTQ+ policies and more.
With control of Congress hanging in the balance, the outcome of these races could impact the legislative agenda in Washington for the next two years. Voters will decide on candidates from the Democratic, Republican, and third-party platforms to fill these crucial positions.
Polling stations were open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
