Houston, how creative are you? Viewers share their best Elf on the Shelf decorations

HOUSTON – Christmas is almost here, and many children have a little guest living amongst them -- maybe even making a mess or getting into some pantry items during their stay.

I am referring to Elf on the Shelf! It’s been a Christmas tradition for many families since 2005.

The elf’s job is to watch your children and report back to Santa Claus if your child has been naughty or nice.

Many parents, eheem, I mean elves, have been getting creative with how they move throughout the night and where they are found in the morning-- surprising the children.
