Craft Pita joins NRG Stadium, fueling fans all season with the Houston Texans

Houston – Houston is gearing up for Texans preseason football, and fans will now enjoy more than just the game.

NRG Stadium is expanding its local food lineup, welcoming Craft Pita by Chef Rafi Nasr, a true hometown guy. Award-winning chef and Eat Like a Local host Chris Shepherd joined us

Rafi, who began as a teenager tailgating in the stadium parking lot, has fulfilled a dream by bringing his vibrant and healthy Mediterranean-inspired menu inside the stadium. Pulling from his Lebanese roots, his offerings include Mediterranean Nachos (stadium exclusive!), chicken kabob pita, chicken kabob rice bowl, gyro pita, gyro rice bowl, hummus with pita chips, and other healthy options perfect for enjoying alongside a cold beer during game day.

This exciting move highlights a larger effort by NRG Stadium to showcase Houston’s culinary scene, collaborating with local restaurants like Truth BBQ, Goode Co., El Tiempo, Trill Burger, and Hugo’s, and now Craft Pita. The addition is aimed at providing fans with delicious, quality food beyond typical stadium fare.

For Rafi, it’s a full-circle moment and a celebration of something fresh, healthy, and totally Houston.
