HOUSTON – Tonight’s Forecast:
Tonight will stay warm, muggy and buggy, with mostly clear skies and temperatures only falling into the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will remain light, so it will still feel sticky through the overnight hours.
Tuesday’s Forecast:
Tuesday will be dangerously hot, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing close to 100 degrees. A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. as humidity pushes feels-like temperatures above 105 degrees in some areas. Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon, drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks in air conditioning.
Tracking the tropics: Tropical Storm Bertha
Tropical Storm Bertha has formed in the eastern Gulf.
It will move northwest, bringing high surf, and gusty winds along the Gulf Coast. For southeast Texas, the center of circulation doesn’t arrive until late Thursday and Friday.
Impacts for southeast Texas are expected to be minimal.

The 10-day forecast stays hot, with temperatures hitting 100° for the first time this year. Significant impacts are not expected at this time from Bertha.
