Coach Chris Ortiz, a teacher and coach at Knox Junior High School in the Woodlands, Texas, has been an educator for more than 20 years. He says he has seen firsthand how Martial Arts can have a positive impact on young people -- especially those who have had trouble learning in conventional ways. He's also the author of six books, which aim to set up young people for success, teach them life skills and help them stay out of trouble.
