Investigators said there are reports that two people in a vehicle were going after the man before shooting him down in the 2900 block of Fannin around 2:32 a.m. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he later died, police said. As of now, police said no suspect information has been released and police don’t have anyone in custody.

HOUSTON – Houston police released photos on Friday of two people charged in a shooting at a Midtown bar Oct. 20 that left three aspiring rappers dead and another man injured. According to a security guard at the club, there were two shooters. The security guard told investigators he had never seen the suspects before and searched them before they entered the club, police said. The security guard said the suspects didn’t have any weapons on them, so he believes they snuck the guns into the club. Further investigation led to the identities of Williams and Hall as suspects in this case and they were charged on Tuesday.

In a recent post to the neighborhood social media app, Nextdoor, one woman opened a thread on the topic with, “we want Bagby Park REOPENED.” Other neighbors chiming in on the lack of information about why the renovations were delayed.
