Attention all families and dog owners, this one’s for you! Levy Park is hosting their 5th annual ‘Howl-o-ween’ Dog Parade and Costume Contest presented by H-E-B this Sunday! A few furry friends stopped by our studio today to show off their PAWsome costumes and get you ready for what’s in-store.

HOUSTON – Get in the Halloween spirit with your best friend this Saturday, October 17, at Levy Park’s Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest! Costume contest categories include Best Ensemble (can include dog’s family or multiple dogs), Most Creative and Scariest. Winners will take home a prize pack from Levy Park. The People’s Choice Award winner will receive a Levy Park prize pack and perhaps one of the greatest prizes of all time, a year’s supply of Dr. Pepper! Voting will take place online at Levy Park’s Facebook page Monday, October 19 through Sunday, October 25.

Catch a free screening of "How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World.” The show starts at 6:30 p.m., but get there early to get a good spot on the lawn. Bayou Bikers meet at Market Square Park at 8 a.m.Let the good times roll Saturday at the Houston Creole Mardi Gras Parade. Enjoy a Community Funfest in Cinco Ranch at the brand new Villa Sport Athletic Club. You can bring the whole family to enjoy the food trucks, carnival games, group exercises and even jump houses.
