Now, as the owner of Savoir and its speakeasy Patton's Steakhouse, Chef Hernandez is opening up about his path to the culinary world. From losing his mother at just 7 years old to working on the family farm to becoming a successful pastry chef, Hernandez had already lived a full life before leaving Mexico.
