A woman is facing a felony charge after investigators say she left her two young daughters alone for weeks without proper supervision at their Katy-area home.

A Spring mother has been charged with two counts of child endangerment and abandoning a child after Harris County Precinct 4 Constable deputies discovered decomposing food, animal waste, and decomposing animal carcasses — possibly from rats or mice — inside her home.
