HOUSTON – Two teenagers were shot Monday in the Mission Bend area, with one of the victims transported by helicopter to a hospital in critical condition, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Deputies with the HCSO responded to a reported shooting in the 14400 block of Pavillion Point.

According to Sheriff Gonzalez, two males believed to be teenagers — possibly ages 15 and 16 — were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the teens, believed to be 16 years old, was transported by Life Flight in critical condition. The condition of the second teen was not immediately known.

Authorities have not released details about what led to the shooting, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
Detectives are responding and are expected to gather additional information.
