Search efforts intensify in River Oaks for missing elderly woman with dementia and her dog
Houston, have you seen this woman or her dog? (Harris County Pct. 1 Constable's Office)
An elderly woman with dementia disappeared Monday afternoon while visiting her family in Harris County.
According to the Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office, Susana Hernandez, 83, left to walk the family dog around 3:30 p.m. and did not return.
Deputies were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. to the 4000 block of Meadow Lake Lane after the family reported her missing.
Hernandez, who is from Austin and visiting the home for the first time, suffers from dementia, officials said.
Anyone with information on Hernandez’s whereabouts is urged to contact Harris County Precinct One or HPD.
