For the first time since 2022, RodeoHouston is expanding to 21 days. The competition will run for 20 days, wrapping up with the Finals on March 21.

On March 22, a major artist will take the stage for a concert-only performance inside NRG Stadium—no rodeo, just music. The headliner will be announced next month, with the full lineup set to drop in early 2026. In 2022, George Strait, the “King of Country,” closed out the event with a memorable concert-only performance.

All your rodeo favorites—Carnival, Champion Wine Garden, AGVENTURE, and shopping—will still be open on the final day.

A Look Back at Rodeo 2025

From a Journey concert power outage mid-“Don’t Stop Believin’” to a runaway cow roaming Houston’s streets, last year’s rodeo was full of surprises. The food scene didn’t disappoint either, with wild creations like Chili & Cheese Jumbo Corn Dogs, Ice Cream Nachos, and a lineup of Dirty Sodas that had everyone talking.

With more days, bigger acts, and crazier rodeo action, 2026 is set to be unforgettable. Stay tuned for updates—Houston, are you ready?
