KPRC2 Investigates has been looking into how local school districts handle the issue of censoring material they don’t want their students to access in school.
The material may be fiction or non-fiction.
KPRC2 has reported that Cy-Fair ISD removed certain chapters from several textbooks and substituted other material.
And three out of 30 school districts we polled restrict access to certain fiction books:
