HOUSTON – The City of Houston says the 311 service line has been restored after going out for several hours Monday afternoon.
Earlier Monday, the City of Houston says it was aware of the issue and was working to get it fixed and working again.

The 311 number in Houston is a non-emergency helpline that residents can call to report city issues or request services.

The 311 service connects citizens with City of Houston departments for assistance with a wide range of concerns, including:
- Reporting potholes, streetlight outages, and traffic signal issues
- Garbage collection and recycling services
- Animal control services
- Water leaks or sewer issues
- Graffiti removal
- Permits and public health concerns
- Other neighborhood issues or general city information
Houston’s 311 helpline is usually available 24/7 and can also be accessed through the Houston 311 mobile app and online at the City of Houston website.
