This Veterans Day, Houston is rolling out the red carpet for its heroes. From free pancakes to half-off sushi, veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy special meals and discounts at restaurants across the city as a thank-you for their service.

Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free meal voucher on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Texas Roadhouse locations. Proof of service is required. Vouchers are valid through May 31, 2026, and can be redeemed for one of 10 entrées, including a 6-ounce sirloin with two sides and a drink. Offers may vary by location.

Mo’ Brunch + Brews: Veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a free short stack of pancakes and a small coffee all day on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, with valid military ID.

Golden Corral: Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free dinner buffet and beverage on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, from 4 p.m. to close, at all locations nationwide as part of the 25th annual Military Appreciation Night.

McDonald’s: Veterans and active-duty military members can enjoy a free meal at participating McDonald’s locations on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025. Guests can choose a free breakfast combo (such as an Egg McMuffin with hash browns and a small coffee, available until 10:30 a.m.) or a lunch option featuring McCrispy strips with medium fries and a drink. Lazy Dog Restaurant: On Veterans Day, all veterans, whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve, can enjoy a free Fireside Favorite entrée at any Lazy Dog location. Starbucks is also donating $200,000, split evenly between the USO and Wounded Warrior Project, to support programs that benefit service members, veterans, and their families.

P.F. Chang’s: Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a complimentary lunch on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., dine-in only. Valid military ID or proof of service required.

Daiquiri Land: Veterans and active-duty military members receive 25% off all purchases on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, at the Houston location, 2528 Calumet St.

Raising Cane’s: This Veterans Day, Raising Cane’s is matching customer donations up to $250,000 to the Gary Sinise Foundation, which supports veterans, first responders, and their families. Donations can be made online or in-restaurant through Nov. 14. The chain also offers a year-round 10% Hero Discount for active and retired military, police, firefighters, EMTs, and their families.
