🎃 Two Events, One Pawsome Cause: How You Can Help Houston’s Homeless Pets

HOUSTON – Get ready, Houston - it’s time to wag, wiggle, and howl for a good cause!

Citizens for Animal Protection - better known as CAP - is inviting Houstonians to celebrate their furry friends with not one, but two events that raise funds and awareness for pets in need.

🐾 Howl-O-Ween: Costumes, Brews & Cuteness Overload

This Sunday, October 26, CAP is teaming up with No Label Brewing Co. in Katy for their annual Howl-O-Ween celebration - a pet-friendly party where costumed pups take center stage. Expect live music from The Ons, delicious food, local vendors, games, and brews… plus free pet microchips!

And yes, there’s a Pet Costume Contest - which means you can dress your dog like a taco, your cat like a cowboy, or really let your imagination run wild.

I’ll be one of this year’s celebrity judges (so bring your A-game, Houston!) along with Izzy Zapata and Chris Fox from Netflix’s Love Is Blind.

💡 Howl-O-Ween runs from 1–4 PM at No Label Brewing Co., 5351 1st St., Katy, TX. Contest entry is $25 online or $30 at the door, and the event is free to attend.

✨ CAP Gala: Glamour for a Great Cause

If sequins and champagne are more your vibe, mark your calendar for the CAP Gala Dinner on Friday, November 15 at The Post Oak Hotel.

Hosted by KPRC’s very own Andy Cerota, the Gala is CAP’s biggest fundraiser of the year - raising vital funds to support the shelter’s mission of rescuing, caring for, and rehoming Houston’s homeless pets.

This year, I’m honored to be one of the Gala honorees, joined by my two rescue pups, Stevie and Matilda, who prove every day that love truly can be found in a shelter. 🐶💛
