Meet the ladies behind Houston’s first annual International Women’s Fest coming to Midtown

Houston – Houston has a new way to celebrate women, and it’s the International Women’s Fest. The fun starts Saturday, September 6, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Midtown Park. The first-of-its-kind community event will feature live music, cultural food, women-led vendors, and the recognition of 55 trailblazing women making an impact in fields from diplomacy to STEM.

Founded by Adrianna Clasen, the festival was created to unite Houston’s diverse communities through empowerment and celebration. Proceeds will benefit The Roque Foundation, with support from community partners including KJ Marketing Group, Coca-Cola, Tejas Protection, Gonzales Law Firm, and Up Above Entertainment. The event is also sponsored by MenoWake, founded by Clasen, with this year’s theme declared as “The Year to Awaken Women.” With live performances curated by Elva Treviño, women-owned businesses, and a powerful message of unity, culture, community, and women’s achievements.
