Houston – As the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo draws to a close this weekend, it’s an exciting time for Houstonians and new-ish Houstonians to explore the heart of Houston’s culture. To give a taste of what this iconic event is all about, a few of Houston’s newest residents—Principal Ballet dancer Angelo Greco, and Corps De Ballet member Rodrigo Pinto—set out to experience the rodeo for the first time with Producer Javana.
For Angelo, originally from Italy, and Rodrigo, from Portugal, this was their first time experiencing a Texas tradition on such a grand scale. Both moved to Houston in July 2024 and are in their first season with the ballet. Both are seasoned performers who have traveled the world, but, found RODEOHOUSTON to be something they’ve never experienced before.
