Pickleball 101: Houston Life team learns all about the sport

HOUSTON – You’ve probably seen it in community centers, public parks, or health clubs. There’s a popular sport gaining new fans across Houston: pickleball.

Houston Life reporter Enrique Ramirez set out to learn the basics with Nick Rivera, Pickleball coordinator at Life Time City Centre, to inspire you to go out and play.

And to show how easy it is to play pickleball. Houston Life hosts Derrick Shore and Courtney Zavala teamed up with reporters Joe Sam and Lauren Kelly to play a fun match.

Clarence Latson, the Life Time City Centre General Manager, served as referee and line judge for the game.
