24 Hour Fitness offering Texans free gym access through the end of March
24 Hour Fitness, which has 39 locations in Texas will welcome all residents and first responders regardless of membership through the end of March. According to a news release Thursday, Texas residents who are interested in visiting their nearby 24 Hour Fitness club can simply visit to gain access throughout the month. Karl Santf, Chief Operating Officer of 24 Hour Fitness said in a statement they are pleased to offer their clubs to the community as a place to take care of their physical and mental wellbeing. KPRC 2 spoke to people who are focusing on staying in shape and living a healthy lifestyle as New Year resolutions. “Exercise more, eat healthier and enjoy 2021, so glad it’s here,” one woman told KPRC 2. “I’m getting it off to a good start out here early in the morning,” one woman said. I turned 36 today so I challenged my friends to 3.6 miles, not 36 miles because I’m not crazy 3.6,” one runner said. “My New Year resolution is to be healthy, happy and spend lots of time with family and friends,” one person said.

Train like a Texan at one of the two new Texans Fit gym locations in the Houston area
HOUSTON – Businesses across the country were forced to close due to the pandemic, some never to reopen. Due to the restructuring, multiple locations in the Houston area and across Texas were closed permanently. Now, months later, two former 24-Hour Fitness locations have gotten a complete overhaul and will reopen as Texans Fit gyms, where locals can train like a Houston Texan. According to the website, the locations are in Katy and Rosenburg and are now open for membership.
