HOUSTON – Voters cast their ballots on Nov. 5, 2024, in Texas’s general election, deciding key offices and seats at the national, state, and local levels, including the presidential race, U.S. Senate, congressional seats, state legislative positions, and various judicial roles.
In this election, Texans chose their representatives across party lines, determining which candidates would assume office. The candidate with the majority of votes in each race secured the position.
Polling stations were open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
