Monday’s Forecast:
A stalling front will bottle up moisture along the coast, increasing the chance for fog to develop mainly south of I-10 as early as 5 AM.
Give yourself extra time on your morning commute, as visibility could drop to less than half a mile.
Behind the fog comes plenty of sunshine and heat! Temperatures are taking off to the upper 90s, with some spots hitting 100 across southeast Texas.
Monday’s rain chance sits around 10%. If a shower or storm does develop, it could bring a brief downpour Monday evening.

We’ll get long break from our next storm. There is nothing brewing in the tropics for the next seven to ten days in the Atlantic basin.

Temperatures remain in the upper 90s next week, and since we are now in the heart of summer there is no major break from the heat. Overnight lows are also close to 80°. Late week showers possible as an onshore flow kicks in.
