June is here, bringing daily rain chances for the first week of the month and serving as a reminder that hurricane season officially begins today.

As for temperatures, the heat isn’t going anywhere. Expect seasonably hot and humid conditions to continue throughout the week.

Summer Pattern Settling in:

We’ll start each day in the mid-70s before temperatures climb into the 90s by the afternoon. While not everyone will see rain, we’ll be tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours.

In addition to daytime heating, rain chances will be fueled by tropical moisture and the sea breeze moving inland from the Gulf.
