We’re tracking a warm and muggy Monday as we gear up for another fun week at the rodeo with a high in the 80s. We have a chance for rain for some, not all, for areas up to the north.

Houstonians are also paying tribute to our first responders during First Responders Day, with special honors and awards ceremonies throughout the day. Your forecast looks warm, muggy but dry.
What we’re watching this afternoon into evening:
We’re tracking another round of isolated thunderstorms, for more of our areas to the north of Houston from about 1 to 5 PM. We can’t rule out some earlier or scattered showers either.
Timing: We’ll watch for areas up to the north for the chance for rain and thunderstorms.
The next cold front that moves through is Wednesday:
If you are hoping for lower temperatures, you get your wish on Wednesday. This cold front will move through Houston.
There is a risk for strong to severe thunderstorms, but the best chance is trending northeast of southeast Texas. Stay connected as we monitor changes.
