Today’s Forecast:
Today we’re tracking patchy fog this morning, then a sunny day with an above-average high of 80! However, winds pick up this afternoon. So, keep that in mind as you plan your day, especially if you have tree allergies.
February was toasty with 20 days of above-average highs and we’re starting March above average as well. Average high for March is 71-77 while the average low is 51-56.
Rodeo Opening Forecast:
Monday is the kick-off to the Houston Livestock and Rodeo, and this will be one of the best days of the week! Temperatures start in the low 60s, with highs near 80 and partly sunny skies. By the time Riley Green takes the stage, temperatures will fall into the 70s.
Rain Chances Return:
We are keeping a close eye on the mid-week forecast as several low-pressure systems and cold fronts approach Texas through the weekend. Ahead of the fronts, a persistent southeasterly wind will increase humidity and moisture.
Your Extended Forecast:
Staying in the 80s, but the big difference will be more clouds, humidity, and rain chances. Next Sunday, we will even spring forward as Daylight Saving Time begins.
