Happening NOW: We’re tracking light rain this morning ahead of a severe weather threat that ramps up in the afternoon into the evening. A dense fog advisory wrapped up this morning at 6 and we’re tracking a high in the 70s.

Severe Weather Risk: We’re tracking a 2 out of 5 or about 15% for damaging winds, hail, heavy rainfall, straight-line winds, and a brief isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.

Timing can change but here is where we stand this morning:

We’ll watch a chance for light rain from 6-10 this morning with more widespread rain throughout the area from 11 to 3 in the afternoon and track a higher risk for severe risk thunderstorms starting from the north making it’s way down to the I-10.
