Monday’s Forecast:
HOUSTON – It’s the most wonderful time of the year—and even Dasher and Prancer had to bundle up in their coats this morning because of our bone-chilling lows in the lower 30s. But the real question? Do we need to prepare for more of the same Tuesday morning? It won’t be as cold as Monday, but it will still be in the 30s.
Tomorrow will be slightly warmer overall, though we’ll trade some sunshine for more clouds.
Planning your mornings:
While we are tracking the chance for rain on your Wednesday morning commute, the weather story this week is the rollercoaster ride Mother Nature has us on—especially with those dramatic swings in our morning lows. We’ll jump a remarkable 24 degrees by Thursday, only to drop back to 48 on Friday thanks to another front.
Wednesday:
We’re tracking a mostly cloudy day with a high in the 70s. We’ll keep a close eye on early morning rain ahead of a front on Thursday that will drop our morning lows into the 40s.
Your Extended Forecast:
A short-lived cold snap, as we’ll warm back up into the 60s and 40s by Tuesday. After the taste of cold, temperatures will warm back to the 70s by the middle of the week.
