Friday Forecast:

Expect to see patches of dense fog each morning before sunrise as dewpoints (water content of the air) continue to climb into the mid 60s.

Friday another summer-like day with partly sunny skies after morning fog. Temperatures will approach the mid 80s but cool off just in time for Friday night football games.

cooling off after sunset

Weekend Forecast:

This increase in moisture also comes with warming morning temperatures -by the end of the weekend morning temperatures will be approaching 70 degrees!

The above average temperatures are also expected during the day, highs will near records both Saturday and Sunday.

Mid to upper 80s this weekend

This warming trend is all because of a building high pressure ridge over Texas. It won’t be until next week where we can see some much needed beneficial rain that could drop temperatures back into the 70s.

High pressure blocking rain makers from moving in

Cold front coming next week:

Our best chance to see rain will be by the end of next week as a sizeable cold front will bring in showers and thunderstorm chances. We’ll adjust the timing as we get closer to the dates next week

Your extended forecast:

Unfortunately, we aren’t looking at any more wintry weather for the foreseeable future, but we will get some much needed rain chances back into the picture for early next week.

Rain holds off until next week
