Behind Wednesday’s rain, you’ll want to grab a coat. A brisk north wind is dragging cold and dry air into SE Texas. Brazos Valley and Piney Woods will feel like the 20s at 7 AM.
Meanwhile, the rest of SE Texas’ wind chills fall into the 30s.
Morning temperatures start in the 30s and 40s, with daytime highs only in the upper 50s. A major change last week’s 80s.
Valentines Day:
Temperatures moderate Friday into the 60s, but if you were looking for sunshine for a romantic picnic, that will be the missing ingredient in your basket. Clouds increase, and there is a minor chance for showers in the afternoon.

Saturday will be a significant warm-up, with highs close to the 80s. However, it will be short-lived; a cold front will drop temperatures on Sunday. Next week, we are watching for more below-average temperatures behind a mid-week cold front.
