HOUSTON – Sunshine returns today, but we started our morning with freezing temperatures in some spots. which will make for a very chilly start in the low 30s. Today we’re still below average, however a slight warm up is headed our way next week.

For Texans fans headed out to NRG Saturday definitely pack a jacket! Temperatures will be warming through the 40s and into the lower-50s.

Sunday’s Forecast:
We will be tracking a coastal low on Sunday that will increase our cloud cover. This will bring a 20% chance for seeing rain showers. The highest chance for rainfall is south of I-10. Forecast rainfall accumulations look to be between 0.5-1″ through the day.
10-day Forecast:
A cold front will pass through Sunday night. This will lower our highs back into the 50s for next week and dry us out! It will be a seasonally cool week ahead.
