KPRC 2 is giving you a closer look at the series of tornadoes that ripped through the Houston area.

Stafnie said her wife had just left to grab food from their house. Seconds later, the tornado touched down.

“While this news breaks our hearts, we are incredibly thankful that all children and staff were safe and not on campus during the storm,” Alvin ISD officials said. "As we work toward recovery, we are asking for your support."
