The program launched in March, which Precinct 4 said, "came out of a data-driven analysis that started last year...[and] will fill the gap between sidewalks to nowhere' across 406 square miles."

The City of Houston has finished the Resilient Sidewalks Plan laying out guidelines that could create more safe and reliable walkways for people living in Gulfton and Kashmere Gardens.
