A man is in police custody after being charged with shooting his girlfriend during an argument near Downtown Houston.

HOUSTON – A man’s body was found stabbed, dismembered, and possibly shot inside a hotel room in southwest Houston on Monday, according to the Houston Police Department. Meanwhile, the man who originally accompanied the victim stayed in the hotel room, Das said. “It is absolutely the single most compelling piece of evidence in this case,” said Crime Stoppers of Houston victim advocate Andy Kahn of the surveillance video. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
