HUMBLE, Texas – Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after they said a man was found dead by his mother at his home in northeast Harris County Sunday. Deputies said they were called to a residence located in the 9200 block of Red Castle Lane around 10:25 p.m. Badger’s mother told deputies she entered the residence and located her son unresponsive in the bedroom. Deputies said EMS responded to the scene and determined the victim was dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies said the case is being investigated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit.

HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after police said a woman discovered her brother had been shot and killed outside of a home in southeast Houston Thursday. Police said the shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. when the man, who was in his 20s, went outside the home located on Winthrop Lane near Hobby Airport to talk to someone in a red truck. That’s when his sister heard six to seven gunshots, officers said. According to investigators, the suspect fled the scene. Police said no arrests have been made in the shooting.

Police said the victim, who was in his 20s, was followed to the complex located on West Gulf Bank near Veterans Memorial. According to investigators, there is no information on the gunman. BAYTOWN, Texas – Police are looking for a person of interest connected to a shooting that left a man dead and another man injured in Baytown Sunday. Officers have identified the person of interest as Mickey Gonzalez, 37, of Houston. Houston police believe Gonzalez may have been involved in a shooting Sunday morning with two men in the 3100 block of Berkley in east Houston. “During that time they (officers) received information that a male named Mickey Gonzalez had shot somebody at that location,” said Sgt. According to investigators, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene in the backseat of the truck.

HOUSTON – Harris County sheriff’s deputies said they are investigating a shooting that left a man dead at a gas station in northeast Harris County Sunday. Deputies said the shooting happened around 10:35 p.m. at a Shell Gas Station in the 5300 block of Aldine Mail Road. Upon arrival, deputies said they found the victim, an unidentified Hispanic male in his early 30s, unresponsive from an apparent gunshot wound. According to investigators, the victim was standing outside of the gas station when shots were fired at him from an adjacent parking lot. HOUSTON – Police said they are searching for a gunman who they believe shot and killed a father inside his apartment Monday. Investigators said the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. on South Kirkwood and Westheimer. According to police, neighbors reported hearing three to four gunshots and minutes later, someone screaming for help. Police said they had to force their way inside the apartment, where they found the father dead and gunshots in a sliding glass door. Detectives are calling the incident a “senseless murder.”

HOUSTON – Police are investigating to find out what happened before a dead man was found bound and gagged in northeast Houston Tuesday. Officers said the man was found near the 3800 block of Woolworth around 12:40 a.m. According to investigators, 63-year-old Richard Graves was found inside a home by his stepdaughter. The home was ransacked and Graves has signs of trauma throughout his body, police said. As of right now, police said they don’t have any information on any suspects or a motive.

HOUSTON – A man is dead and his adult son is injured after police said he chased down the guys who stole his brand-new truck into an east Houston cemetery Sunday night. According to officers, the man was following three men who had just stolen his pickup truck. Police said the man eventually caught up to the suspects and jumped onto the side of the stolen vehicle. “I am speechless, really speechless at what has happened,” said Lisa Jedkins, caretaker of Historic Evergreen Cemetery.
