On January 6, 1981, Karen Lynn Douglas was stabbed to death in front of her baby. KPRC 2 Reporter Corley Peel spoke one-on-one with the victim’s husband after law enforcement offered announced a reward for information leading to the killer’s arrest.

Authorities have increased the reward to $6,000 in hopes of solving the 1981 cold case murder of 22-year-old Karen Lynn Douglas, who was found stabbed to death in her Harris County home.

The Texas Department of Public Safety announced Tuesday that it is seeking leads in the 1981 cold case homicide of Karen Lynn Douglas, of Harris County.
