Another body was found Tuesday in Buffalo Bayou downtown, adding to a growing number of human remains discovered in Houston’s waterways.

As Houston police investigated a bayou where a body was found Monday morning, officers were soon called to a second scene involving another body near a different bayou.

Another body is discovered in Houston's Buffalo Bayou. Since 2017, 190 bodies have been found in local bayous, and the cause of death for 40-percent of them is "undetermined."

Houston bayous have been gaining national attention after several bodies were recovered within a span of 10 days in September, bringing the number of bodies found to 22 this year.
