A fatal collision occurred on the Fred Hartman Bridge when a northbound pickup truck drifted over the line and struck a disabled vehicle towing a boat on the left shoulder. The driver of the striking pickup truck died, while the two brothers in the disabled vehicle suffered minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation by authorities.

A woman accused of driving while intoxicated was arrested for street racing and then leading deputy constables on a high-speed chase near the Gulf Freeway Sunday, the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office said.
